RELEASE NOTES - Version 1.1

WinRoam Release 1.1 includes improvements and bug fixes from version 1.0.2.
We have made three major enhancements:

(1) WinRoam 1.1 supports Windows Mobile 2003.

(2) Using our transcoding technique, WinRoam 1.1 significantly reduces data 
access time when a user opens a remote image file for display on device. 
Our technique reduces data size significantly and yet provides a high 
quality image display on the PDA screen. For example, a JPEG image that 
requires 15-20 seconds of access time can now be displayed in 2 seconds, 
a great way to view your favorite pictures remotely without downloading 
them to your PDA.

(3) WinRoam's login support now works with Windows Active Directory service. 

Setup files are now available for Pocket PC 2000/2002/2003 (ARM) and 
for processor type SH3 that runs Pocket PC 2000.

RELEASE NOTES - Version 1.0.2

WinRoam Release 1.0.2 includes a number of bug fixes and improvements 
from version 1.0.1.

The new features include:

- Hosts added manually are kept after program exits.

- Option to leave synchronization conflicts unresolved.

- Ability to cancel operation during file transfer and listing

- Removed restrictions on copying files to root type of directories such 
as "\" and c:, D: drives.

- Option to automatically delete original file after encryption

- Automatically delete the encrypted file after the original file is restored.

The generation of registration code was also changed to ensure purchaser free 
upgrades for minor releases (e.g., 1.1 upgrade to 1.2). Anyone who has purchased 
WinRoam 1.0.1 may email us to request for a new registration code for 1.0.2.

Initial release of WinRoam.
This software allows the pocket pc user to:
- organize files in a familiar Windows explorer style interface.
- access ANY file on a Windows PC over network. The user does not have to place files in special folders prior to access.
- browse computers on the network
- connect to PC with the same username and password to prevent unauthorized access
- send/receive data in secure mode (SSL)
- encrypt/decrypt files on device
- synchronize any pair of folders between device and desktop over network without using ActiveSync and cables.
- compress data automatically (if chosen) when transferring files to reduce transmission time over a slow connection.
- view, open and modify files
- automatically sync back changes to remote files
- view detailed file/folder properties
- copy and move files
- double click to open files
- associate an application with a file extension.
- select filter for file display
